Role Overview

experienced PostgreSQL Database Administrators (DBAs)

Key Responsibilities

Provide
BAU PostgreSQL support
across
multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
.
Maintain and
optimize PostgreSQL databases
in alignment with SLAs.
Implement and manage
high availability (HA)
,
clustering
, and
replication
using
Patroni
.
Manage
backup and recovery
operations leveraging
pgBackRest
.
Diagnose and resolve
performance bottlenecks and database issues
.
Ensure
Disaster Recovery (DR)
readiness and compliance with security policies.
Partner with
automation engineers
to support
Ansible-based deployments
.
Support a
seamless transition
from current support arrangements

Required Skills & Experience

Strong expertise in
PostgreSQL administration
,
performance tuning
, and
troubleshooting
.
Hands-on experience with
Crunchy PostgreSQL
and
Patroni clustering
.
Proficiency with
pgBackRest
for backup and recovery management.
In-depth understanding of
PostgreSQL infrastructure
, replication, and HA configurations.
Strong
Linux/Unix administration
background with advanced
Bash scripting
skills.
Experience working across
multi-cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, GCP).
Proven experience in
monitoring and alerting
for large-scale systems.
Exposure to
FOAK (First of a Kind)
solution environments will be an added advantage.
