Job Summary:

The PO Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end purchase order process, ensuring timely and accurate issuance, tracking, and closure of POs. The role supports procurement operations by coordinating with internal departments, vendors, and logistics teams to ensure effective procurement and delivery of goods and services.

KRAs:

• Create, issue, and track Purchase Orders (POs) based on purchase requisitions and procurement plans.
• Ensure accuracy of item descriptions, quantities, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to confirm order details, delivery timelines, and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and update PO records in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.).
• Follow up on pending POs and expedite deliveries as required.
• Collaborate with the accounts department to facilitate timely invoice processing and payment.
• Monitor supplier performance and delivery compliance.
• Assist in vendor onboarding and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and standards.
• Prepare PO-related reports and MIS for management review.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in procurement or purchase order management (preferred).
• Working knowledge of procurement tools/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.).
• Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office tools.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
