PL/SQL Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PL/SQL Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining PL/SQL code for database applications. You will work closely with application developers, business analysts, and QA teams to implement efficient database solutions and improve performance. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize complex PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers. Analyze and tune SQL queries to improve performance and scalability. Collaborate with application developers to integrate back-end database logic with front-end modules. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable PL/SQL code based on business requirements. Perform data analysis and support data migration, transformation, and validation tasks. Create and maintain technical documentation including data dictionaries and flow diagrams. Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with database standards and best practices. Participate in code reviews and contribute to database design discussions. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a PL/SQL Developer or similar role. Strong knowledge of Oracle databases and PL/SQL programming language. Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries. Familiarity with database tools like TOAD, SQL Developer, or similar. Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
