PLC Programmer

Job Summary:  

We are seeking a skilled PLC Programmer to design, develop, and maintain programmable  logic controller (PLC) systems for automated industrial processes. The ideal candidate will  have hands-on experience in programming, troubleshooting, and optimizing PLCs and  HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), ensuring eƯiciency, safety, and reliability across our  automation systems.  

Key Responsibilities:  

• Develop and modify PLC code for automation equipment using platforms such as  Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron.  
•  Design and configure HMI/SCADA systems.  
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing control systems.  
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and process engineering teams.
• Interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
• Participate in system startup, testing, and commissioning at site locations.  
• Ensure all programming adheres to safety, quality, and industry standards. 
•  Maintain proper documentation of all code and modifications.  

Qualifications:  

Required: 

•  Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation,  Mechatronics, or related field.  
• 5+ years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation. 
• Proficiency in ladder logic, function block, structured text, programming languages. 
• Familiarity with HMI/SCADA systems. 
• Analog (Loadcell, LVDT), Servo operation (PTO), Communication. 
• Communication modules (RS-232, 485,422) with third party accessories.  

Preferred: 

• Experience with industrial communication protocols.  
• Understanding of industrial safety standards.  
• Previous experience in commissioning and field service work.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.  
• Ability to work independently and in a team.  

 Good written and verbal communication.
