Job Role - PLC Programmer Roles & Responsibilities - Develop and implement PLC programs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi ) for automation equipment. Design and configure HMI (Human Machine Interface) screens. Perform system integration, testing, and debugging of automation equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues in real-time. Modify existing PLC code to improve system functionality or to support engineering changes. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers on multidisciplinary projects. Provide on-site and remote support during installation and commissioning phases. Document control systems and develop technical support materials. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements. Documentation-Interlock list, Alarm List, Manual Docs preparation, etc. Required Skills : Relevant 4-5 years Experience from Automation Industry requires Knowledge of servo systems, VFDs, sensors, and actuators. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to travel to customer sites as required. Job Role - PLC Programmer Key Responsibilities: Develop, modify, and maintain PLC programs primarily using Mitsubishi GX Works2/GX Works3 or GX Developer. Design and implement HMI screens using GOT HMI or other Mitsubishi-compatible interfaces. Perform system integration, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of PLC-controlled machinery and processes. Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to define functional requirements and ensure system performance. Provide technical support during commissioning, startup, and post-installation. Create detailed documentation, including functional design specifications, wiring diagrams, and user manuals. Ensure compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations (e.g., IEC, CE, UL). Support preventive maintenance and continuous improvement of automation systems. Train technicians and operators on PLC/HMI operation and troubleshooting. Qualification - Education: Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field. Experience: 3+ years of experience in PLC programming with a focus on Mitsubishi systems & Additional PLC - Siemens, Allen - Bradley, Delta is an advantage Hands-on experience with Mitsubishi platforms such as Q Series, FX Series, or iQ-R Series. Experience with SCADA/HMI software and industrial networking. Strong understanding of ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagrams. Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., CC-Link, Modbus, Ethernet/IP).
