Job Description – PLC Developer

Location: Swargate, Pune

Educational Background: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunication (E&TC), Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering

Role Overview:

We are looking for experienced PLC Developers with strong expertise in industrial automation, control systems, and PLC programming. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and commissioning PLC-based automation solutions for our projects. Candidates should also have a willingness to learn LabVIEW software for integration with DAQ and test automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC applications (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, or equivalent).
• Design and implement automation solutions for industrial processes.
• Work on HMI/SCADA integration with PLC systems.
• Collaborate with project teams to define system requirements and specifications.
• Conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), SAT (Site Acceptance Test), and commissioning activities.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and provide technical support during project execution.
• Ensure documentation of PLC logic, wiring diagrams, and project reports.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and client requirements.
• Provide training and technical guidance to junior engineers/technicians if required.
• Be open to learning and applying LabVIEW software for automation and DAQ projects.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
• Experience with HMI/SCADA software (e.g., WinCC, Wonderware, Ignition, FactoryTalk).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, control drawings, and P&IDs.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with on-site troubleshooting experience.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to learn LabVIEW software for future project needs.

Educational Qualification:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics & Telecommunication (E&TC), Electrical Engineering, or Instrumentation Engineering
• Diploma in Electrical / E&TC / Instrumentation with relevant experience can also be considered

Work Location:

• Swargate, Pune (On-site requirement; willingness to travel for commissioning if required)

Pay: ₹284,702.58 - ₹1,205,144.47 per year
