Key Responsibilities

• Develop and debug complex platform features using C/C++, hardware bus protocols, and advanced debugging tools.
• Plan technical requirements and support software/hardware build releases, including versioning and product updates.
• Design, develop, and test hardware–software solutions aligned with customer and system requirements.
• Work on board bring-up and datapath bring-up, gaining deep exposure to kernel internals and system-level architecture.
• Enhance product performance by troubleshooting and optimizing system behavior across software and hardware layers.
• Collaborate with external vendors to integrate and debug SoC-based architectures and third-party components.
• Contribute to system documentation, design reviews, and long-term product evolution.
• Gain exposure to optical and networking technologies, strengthening expertise in telecom-grade platforms.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• BE / BTech / ME / MTech with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong expertise in bootloaders, Linux kernel internals, board bring-up, and low-level system programming.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals; experience in IP, optical networking, or telecom systems is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with bus protocols such as I2C, SPI, PCIe, including driver development and debugging.
• Experience working with various chipsets including SoC, DSP, Gearbox, Retimers, etc.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++, system-level debugging, and performance analysis.
• Familiarity with SDKs and embedded development environments is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet milestones in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with chassis-based routers or switches.
• Understanding of 32-bit and 64-bit SoC architectures and cross-compilation toolchains.
• Experience working in multi-cultural or global engineering environments.
