As a Manufacturing Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily manufacturing activities related to surgical devices such as IV Cannula and IV Set. Your responsibilities will include: - Planning, organizing, directing, and managing manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production scheduling, machinery utilization, and packaging processes. - Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and quality protocols specific to surgical device manufacturing. - Developing, implementing, and monitoring production processes to optimize output, minimize costs, and maximize quality. - Managing inventory, materials replenishment, and resource allocation to support timely production and shipping of surgical devices. - Maintaining thorough documentation and process records for all production activities. - Overseeing preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment to ensure reliability, quality assurance, and compliance. - Addressing and resolving employee concerns, providing training, and conducting regular performance reviews. - Coordinating cross-functional activities among departments such as quality control, logistics, purchasing, and R&D. - Ensuring effective new product introduction, process engineering, and troubleshooting for manufacturing. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial management, business administration, or a related field. - Extensive experience in manufacturing management, preferably within the medical devices or surgical products sector. - Knowledge of health and safety laws and standards related to medical device manufacturing. - Strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills. Additionally, typical skills and experience that would be beneficial for this position include: - Proven ability to troubleshoot manufacturing processes and equipment issues. - Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality control systems. - Experience in resource management, scheduling, and equipment maintenance. - Proficiency in computer systems and production management software. - Ability to set and monitor key performance indicators and achieve production targets. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Candidates with at least 5 years of experience in surgical products manufacturing are preferred. Relocation before starting work is preferred.
