Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and market share objectives for surgical devices-(IV Cannula/ IV Set, etc.).
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets, including identifying key accounts and decision-makers.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, healthcare professionals, and decision-makers.
Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including sales volume, revenue, and market penetration.
Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management regularly.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns tailored to the surgical device market.
Work closely with product development and R&D teams to provide valuable feedback and insights from the field, supporting product innovation and improvements.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field. An advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
Similar experience (4+ years) in the same industry or company that manufactures surgical devices, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Previous experience in a sales management role in the same industry or company, including team leadership and business development.
Strong understanding of surgical device regulations, industry trends, and healthcare systems.
