Plant Incharge

Purpose/Objective

End to end responsible to achieve plant profitability target through maximisation of plant utilisation and reduction of production cost by optimal use of resources available at the plant level.

Key Responsibilities of Role

1. Maintenance of plant and equipment. Ensure BOS Compliance. 2. Develop multi-skilling of plant staff and manage working hours including attendance. Efficient including increase in usage of recycled water. 3. Manage weekly and daily production plan along with raw materials availability as per requirements provided by sales team to ensure on time delivery of concrete to customer 4. Ensure all plant statutory compliance all in place 5. Daily and weekly stock reconciliation 6. Plant scale & calibration check as per BOS 7. Logistics coordination with Logistics Incharge and vendors 8. Ensure timely processing of all vendor bills 9. Prepare and present all daily, weekly and monthly MIS for management review

Qualifications and Experience

Essential Diploma – Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Desirable/Preferable BE - Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Work Experience (Cumulative) Total Years (Band) 6 to 15 years Years (Relevant) 5 years Seniority (desirable) 6-7 years of experience in Plant Operations of Concrete in RMC industry Types of Organization Manufacturing (Service industry) Types of Sectors RMC industry Variety of experience Min. 5 years working in RMC Plant Operations Qualitative aspects The individual should have in depth knowledge of RMC Plant Operations and maintenance, adept at people management especially for blue collar workforce, target oriented and adaptive to the changing scenarios. A multitasker with ability to withstand pressure and able to take challenges.
