Assign tasks and ensure workforce discipline. Conduct training and skill development programs. Resolve workforce issues and maintain morale. 3. Quality ControlEnsure products meet quality standards and specifications. Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) department. Implement corrective actions for defects and process deviations. 4. Maintenance & Machinery CareEnsure machines and equipment are properly maintained. Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance. Ensure minimal machine downtime. 5. Safety & ComplianceEnforce safety rules and monitor workplace safety. Ensure the factory complies with legal regulations (labour laws, pollution control, fire safety, etc.). Conduct safety drills and audits. 6. Inventory & Material ManagementMonitor raw material availability. Reduce wastage and manage storage effectively. Coordinate with purchase and stores departments. 7. Reporting & DocumentationMaintain production reports, daily logs, manpower data, and machine performance records. Report progress to senior management. 8. Cost ControlReduce production costs through efficiency improvements. Monitor energy consumption and material usage. Prevent unnecessary expenses
