Plant Incharge

Purpose/Objective

End to end responsible to achieve plant profitability target through maximisation of plant utilisation and reduction of production cost by optimal use of resources available at the plant level. Implement best quality practices in order to enhance overall product quality of AAA RMC.

Key Responsibilities of Role

1.Maintenace of plant and equipment. Ensure BOS Compliance. 2.Develop multi-skilling of plant staff and manage working hours including attendance. Efficient including increase in usage of recycled water. 3.Interact with customers and understand their specific requirements to allow mix designs to be individually tailored. Develop new mix designs and revise existing ones, whenever required as directed by Head-Technical. 4.Ensure compliance with all Quality Assurance /Quality Control protocols as per BOS. 5.Monitor testing of all concrete making ingredients for the RMC Plants in the clusters and conduct random quality checks and lab trials. 6.Ensure all raw materials used comply with relevant Indian Standards as well as Company norms for quality and quantity. Endorse vendor qualification for all input raw materials market representation. 7.Carry out regular inspection and review of all technical records and documentation on the testing of incoming raw materials as well as concrete. 8.Ensure that necessary certification, calibration and inspection of equipment’s such as Compression Testing Machine (CTM), weigh balances etc is carried out regularly as per Indian Standard requirements and Company norms. 9.Plan & Schedule the production of concrete to deliver on time.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications Essential Diploma – Civil Desirable/Preferable BE - Civil Work Experience (Cumulative) Total Years (Band) 6 to 15 years Years (Relevant) 5 years Seniority (desirable) 6-7 years of experience in Production & Quality of Concrete in RMC industry Types of Organization Manufacturing (Service industry) Types of Sectors infrastructure, Building materials industry, RMC industry Variety of experience Min. 5 years working in Production & Quality Control Qualitative aspects The individual should have in depth knowledge of Concrete mix design, having high convincing power, target oriented and adaptive to the changing scenarios. A multitasker with ability to withstand pressure the individual should have ability to take challenges.
