Job Description

Location: Gurgaon – Manufacturing Unit

Experience: Minimum 10 years (Manufacturing Industry mandatory)

Workforce Size: ~800 Employees

Reporting To: CEO

Team Reporting: Admin Manager, HR Executives

Role Purpose:

To manage industrial relations, statutory compliances, corporate HR processes, and

administration for a manufacturing unit, ensuring legal compliance, employee harmony, and

alignment with corporate HR policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Industrial Relations:

  • Maintain harmonious IR environment for permanent and contract workforce
  • Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, domestic enquiries, and settlements
  • Prevent and manage industrial disputes and unrest
  • Lead wage negotiations and productivity initiatives, if needed
  • Coordinate labour office inspections and audits.

Statutory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws (Factories Act, PF, ESI, Wages, Bonus,

Gratuity, etc.)

  • Manage statutory registers, returns, licenses, and renewals
  • Represent company before labour authorities

Corporate HR:

  • Implement corporate HR policies and SOPs at unit level
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, exits, and documentation
  • Support manpower planning, performance management, and engagement initiatives

Administration:

  • Supervise admin functions including canteen, security, housekeeping, and welfare

facilities

  • Control administrative costs and improve operational efficiency

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and develop HR & Admin team
  • Set KPIs and ensure timely execution of HR & IR deliverables

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of IR & labour laws
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict-handling skills
  • Experience managing large blue-collar workforce
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to handle government authorities confidently

Qualification:

  • MBA -HR / IR / Labour Laws
  • Law degree – added advantage
