Job Description

1. Contract Labour Management

  • Manage daily deployment and ensure statutory compliance of the contract workforce.
  • Coordinate with contractors for timely wage disbursement, documentation, and adherence to legal norms.

2. Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with applicable labour laws (e.g., CLRA, Factories Act) and maintain updated statutory records.
  • Handle audits, labour inspections, and ensure timely submission of all HR-related returns.

3. Time Office & Attendance

  • Supervise attendance, shift scheduling, leave management, and overtime tracking for all plant employees.
  • Provide accurate payroll inputs based on verified attendance data.

4. Employee Relations & Discipline

  • Address employee grievances and manage disciplinary procedures in line with company policy.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and compliant work environment while supporting industrial harmony.

5. HR Operations & MIS

  • Maintain and regularly update employee records in HRIS systems.
  • Prepare and submit periodic HR MIS reports to plant leadership and corporate HR.

6. Support to Corporate HR Initiatives

  • Coordinate and execute corporate-led HR programs at the plant level, including:
    • Onboarding & Induction

    • Learning & Development (L&D)

    • Performance Management System (PMS)
