Human Resources, Industrial Relations & Administration Manager

We're looking for an experienced and highly motivated Human Resources, Industrial Relations (IR), and Administration Manager to join our team at a leading rubber thread manufacturing unit in Palakkad, Kerala. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, fostering positive labour relations, and overseeing the smooth operation of administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources (HR):

  • Talent Acquisition: Manage end-to-end recruitment, from sourcing and interviewing to on boarding.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, ensuring fair and timely resolution.
  • Performance Management: Implement and oversee performance appraisal systems and career development programs.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs and organize programs to enhance employee skills.

Industrial Relations (IR):

  • Labour Management: Handle all matters related to industrial relations, including negotiations with unions and compliance with labour laws.
  • Dispute Resolution: Mediate and resolve conflicts between management and employees to maintain a harmonious work environment.
  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all central and state labour regulations, including the Factories Act, ESI, PF, and other relevant statutes.

Administration:

  • Facility Management: Supervise all administrative functions, including security, safety protocols, housekeeping, contract labour vendor/manpower and maintenance of factory premises.
  • MIS: Preparation of all MIS related to HR, Sales & Production.
  • General Administration: Oversee all administrative tasks to ensure the efficient functioning of the factory.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: A Master's degree (MBA-HR/MSW-PM&IR) is preferred
  • Experience: A minimum of 5-07 years of experience in a similar role, with significant experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Language: Proficiency in Malayalam and English is essential.
  • Legal Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and regulations is a must.
  • Leadership: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
