Role & responsibilities

Organization

1. HR Operations & Administration

  • Manage end-to-end HR operations for the plant including manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, and exit formalities.
  • Maintain and ensure accurate HR documentation (attendance, leave, personnel files, etc.).
  • Drive HRMS implementation and usage at the plant level.

2. Compliance & IR (Industrial Relations)

  • Ensure 100% compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, Factory Act, etc.).
  • Handle employee grievances effectively and maintain harmonious employee relations.
  • Liaise with government and regulatory bodies for inspections and audits.

3. Employee Engagement & Welfare

  • Design and execute employee engagement activities to improve motivation and morale.
  • Implement welfare measures like health camps, canteen management, transport, etc.
  • Foster an inclusive, safe, and productive workplace culture.

4. Talent Development & Retention

  • Identify training needs and coordinate internal and external training programs.
  • Support skill development, succession planning, and leadership grooming at the plant.
  • Monitor attrition and implement retention strategies.

5. Performance Management

  • Support the annual appraisal cycle and facilitate goal setting and review discussions.
  • Analyze performance trends and provide insights to department heads.

6. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

  • Ensure the plant HR function supports the safety team in driving EHS awareness and training.
  • Coordinate first aid and fire safety preparedness programs.

7. Talent Acquisition

  • Lead the recruitment process for White - collar level positions in alignment with the plants business requirements.
  • Manage hiring through internal sourcing, external agencies, and local networks.
  • Ensure timely onboarding and induction programs for new hires to integrate them into the organization effectively.

Work Experience and Education

Qualification: MBA

Experience: 10 Years

Preferences:

Experience of Manufacturing Industry at least 7 years

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory requirements
  • Proficiency in MS Office, HRMS tools (e.g., SAP, HR One)

  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
  • Effective communicator with good interpersonal skills
  • Legal compliance
