Job Description AGM Finance Controller Industry: Tyre Manufacturing Location: Borivali EAST, Mumbai Experience: 9 to 14 Years Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) About the Role: We are looking for a AGM Finance to lead and oversee the accounting, finance, taxation, and IPO process for our tyre manufacturing company. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the GM Finance will be responsible for financial strategy, compliance, and ensuring the companys financial health while also playing a pivotal role in the IPO journey. The ideal candidate must have strong financial leadership experience within the manufacturing industry and a proven track record in IPO preparation. Key Responsibilities: Financial Strategy & Management Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to ensure financial stability. Ensure cost optimization and improve financial efficiencies across the company. Implement robust financial controls, risk management, and governance policies. Manage working capital, banking relationships, and treasury operations effectively. Accounting & Compliance Supervise and manage financial reporting, audits, and compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS). Ensure adherence to GST, corporate tax, and other direct & indirect taxation laws. Strengthen internal financial controls and improve reporting mechanisms. Liaise with external auditors, regulatory authorities, and financial institutions. IPO & Fundraising Assist the CFO in leading the IPO process , including documentation, due diligence, and regulatory compliance. Work with investment bankers, legal advisors, and SEBI authorities to ensure a smooth listing process. Support investor relations, financial disclosures, and stock exchange filings. Manage IPO-related financial structuring, valuation, and compliance processes. Manufacturing Finance Oversight Ensure accurate cost accounting, inventory valuation, and financial reporting for manufacturing operations. Partner with operations teams to drive cost efficiencies and financial discipline in production. Implement ERP and financial automation tools for better financial control and reporting. Key Requirements: Must be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 15+ years of experience in finance leadership roles. Mandatory experience in the manufacturing sector , preferably in tyre, rubber, or automotive industries. Strong expertise in financial planning, accounting, taxation, and compliance. Prior experience in IPO preparation and capital market compliance is highly desirable. In-depth knowledge of SEBI regulations, corporate governance, and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) for financial management. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in IPO execution or working with listed companies. Exposure to fundraising, investor relations, and M&A transactions. Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with strong attention to detail. The role will initially be based at Sarigam for 6 months, followed by a relocation to our upcoming facility in Wada. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, experience in plant-level finance, and the ability to partner with operations to drive efficiency and cost control. Key Responsibilities: Manage all plant-level finance and accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Monitor and control plant costs, working closely with operations and procurement teams Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with statutory and company standards Oversee inventory accounting, fixed asset management, and working capital monitoring Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies as needed Implement internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies Support financial planning for plant expansion and capital investments Requirements: CA(Finance) or equivalent qualification 25 years of experience in plant or manufacturing finance, preferably in the rubber/chemical industry Strong knowledge of cost accounting, GST, and statutory compliance Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Excel Willingness to relocate after 6 months to Wada (near Thane)

Provide daily / monthly / quarterly / annual MIS and Stock Statements to HO and ensure all reporting targets are met. 3. Preparation and Coordinate with HO for finalization of quarterly / annual Trial Balance, Balance Sheet. 4. Coordination with the Internal Auditor as per business and regulatory needs for verification of accounts and stocks. Review and ensure corrective action of Internal Audit report in consultation with Unit Head/HO. 5. Coordination and compliance of Statutory Auditors referring to unit locally and compliance for Annual Accounts as per local laws and India 6. Review of Monthly budget which includes production and sales Target, Factory Operation Target etc. in consultation with Head of Marketing and Factory Head and Head Office. 7. Timely settlement of advance to staff and creditors 8. Ensure and check Vendors and Customers accounts are reconciled. 9. Monitoring over collection from customers and Preparing and Issuing Credit Notes. 10. Monitor all cash and banking activities; check and provide Cash Flow statements to the Corporate Office on a daily basis. Coordinate with the Corporate Office for funds requirements and remittance. 11. Handling direct and Indirect taxation i.e. TDS /TCS and GST. Adheres to GST laws and regulations. Oversee the Preparation and Filing of Monthly applicable GST returns. Reconcile of ITC with supplier inwards for avoid ITC mismatch and Financial losses. Handling Audit and Tax Assessment. Address Queries from Tax Authorities, Respond to Notices. Act on the Point contact for GST related matter with Tax authorities, Consultant and legal Advisors. 12.Handling Import and Export documentation from Ex- Factory. 13.Regular Monitoring and Planning of Labor with HR and Unit Head Team , Checking Review Labor cost, Salaries and Py roll related reports. 14. Reconcile Inter company and inter unit balances. II Costing & Budgeted Related: - 1 Preparation of product wise Cost sheets. 2. Preparation & review of annual budget report (product wise) to top management 3. Working on Major Cost items, Overheads, raw material and packing material 4. Product wise EBITDA margins up to factory level III. Stores and Purchase Related: 1. Coordinate with Supply Chain and HO Purchase for all matters pertaining to Raw Material / Consumables and Stores 2. Control the level of inventories within defined limits 3. Ensure Stores and Purchase procedures stipulated are complied with 4. Ensure all incoming materials and outgoing materials are properly accounted for on a daily basis . IV. Despatch and Stock and Property Related: 1. Reconcile physical stocks and book stocks monthly and where necessary take corrective action. 2. Ensure Despatch of material as per instructions from the marketing department (priority wise). 3. Ensure all Invoices are made correctly for qty, rate and other terms of conditions of sale. 4. Ensure all key equipment / plant and machinery / mould sent for repair are received back within committed period and in case of delay beyond 30 days report to Corporate Office. 5. Review of local expenses for Transportation / Logistics for inputs and finished goods and Management matters of Logistics Company. V. Statutory Compliances & Legal Compliance : 1. Filing of local statutory returns on monthly, annually, half yearly, annually as per local Rules and Regulations 2. Monitoring and reviewing the Validation and renewal of factory licenses, labor licenses, pollution licenses etc. prior to expiry. 3.
