Planning Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical Civil Planning Engineer to join our dynamic project team at the Head Office. The ideal candidate, preferably a graduate or postgraduate from NICMAR, will play a pivotal role in the comprehensive planning and meticulous monitoring of our civil projects. This position demands a strong ability to develop robust project schedules, accurately track progress, perform critical analysis, and ensure seamless coordination across various departments, ultimately contributing to the timely and efficient execution of projects in alignment with client and stakeholder expectations.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Project Scheduling & Management:

• Develop, update, and meticulously maintain comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard software such as Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Perform in-depth critical path analysis to identify and manage key project dependencies and potential bottlenecks.
• Conduct resource loading, levelling, and forecasting to ensure optimal allocation and utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.

• Collaboration & Coordination:

• Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, procurement, execution/site operations, and commercial departments to gather essential inputs for accurate and integrated project planning.
• Integrate subcontractor schedules seamlessly into the master project schedule, ensuring alignment and identifying potential conflicts.

• Progress Monitoring & Reporting:

• Diligently track project progress against baselines, preparing regular and insightful Management Information System (MIS) reports.
• Generate various analytical reports, including S-curves for progress visualization, look-ahead schedules for short-term planning, and detailed delay analysis to identify root causes and impacts.
