About NIIT
Industry Collaboration and Placement Executive
Key Responsibilities:
Industry Collaboration & Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain relationships with corporate clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for organizations seeking to hire NIIT students, including for Professional Practice and full-time roles.
- Engage in sales and marketing efforts to promote NIITs offerings in providing trained talent to the industry.
- Manage client expectations, working closely with both internal stakeholders and external clients to align on recruitment goals and job requirements.
Placement Coordination:
- Organize placement drives at NIIT locations or client premises, ensuring seamless execution and student participation.
- Match student profiles to job descriptions (JDs) and collaborate with employers to ensure the best fit for both candidates and organizations.
- Provide guidance and feedback to students during the placement process, offering interview preparation and career counselling as needed.
Technology & Market Understanding:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of IT roles and the technology sector to effectively profile candidates and align with relevant job roles.
- Keep abreast of trends in the IT education sector, including changes in job requirements and new technologies.
Travel & On-site Engagement:
- Willingness to travel to meet clients, arrange placement drives, and represent NIIT at external events and job fairs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in IT recruitment or placement.
- Strong selling and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate value propositions.
- Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to connect with corporate organizations, enterprises, and educational institutions.
- In-depth knowledge of the IT hiring landscape, with prior experience in Edtech, engineering student placements, or experience in placing freshers in private universities.
- Familiarity with various IT roles, technology domains, and industry requirements.
- Proven ability to match profiles to job descriptions and manage the full recruitment cycle.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and coordinate placement drives.
- Based in Mumbai or Pune (Preferred).
Desired Experience:
- Experience working in the IT education industry, with a strong understanding of the IT market and recruitment trends.
- A strong network of past clients and contacts in the IT and ITES sector.
