Role Description

This is an internship role for a Placement Coordinator, located on-site in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Placement Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating the placement process for students, maintaining strong relationships with partner organizations, and assisting in recruiting suitable candidates. Daily tasks include coordinating with companies to identify job opportunities, conducting placement-related training and workshops, and managing administrative tasks related to student placement activities. The role supports students and ensures seamless placement experiences.

Job Summary


The Training & Placement Officer is responsible for coordinating training activities, managing student placements, building relationships with companies, and ensuring maximum placement opportunities for students.

 

Training Coordination:

Coordinate with trainers to track student progress across cybersecurity programs (VAPT, SOC, Ethical Hacking, Diploma Cyber Security, etc.).

Ensure students complete required modules, labs, assignments, and assessments.

Maintain training attendance, performance reports, and batch records.

Align training content with current industry and placement requirements.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners and recruiters.

Coordinate with companies for job descriptions, interview schedules, and hiring processes.


Placement Activities :

Build and maintain relationships with cybersecurity companies and HR partners.

Share student profiles with recruiters and schedule interviews.

Organize placement drives, walk-in interviews, and virtual interviews.

Prepare students for placements (resume review, interview preparation, mock interviews).

Track placement status and maintain placement records.

Organize technical training, soft skills, aptitude, and interview preparation sessions.

Monitor student attendance, performance, and readiness for placements.

Communicate placement updates to students through emails, WhatsApp, and notices.

Act as a single point of contact between students, faculty, and employers.

Administrative & Reporting

Maintain placement databases and MIS reports.

Prepare monthly and quarterly placement performance reports.

Ensure compliance with institute policies and placement guidelines.


Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Good knowledge of recruitment processes and HR practices.

Ability to build and maintain corporate relationships.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Good coordination, planning, and organizational skills.


Preferred Skills

Experience in training institutes, colleges, or placement agencies.

Knowledge of IT, cybersecurity, or technical domains (added advantage).

Ability to handle pressure and meet placement targets.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Number of students placed per batch.

Number of active hiring partners.

Student satisfaction and placement success rate.

Timely completion of training and placement activities.
