Job Description: Piping Engineer We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Piping Engineer to join our team at Quest Global. As a Piping Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of piping systems for various energy projects. Responsibilities: Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and objectives. Design and develop piping systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical specifications to determine the most suitable piping solutions. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, including isometric and orthographic views. Perform stress analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of piping systems. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of piping systems. Review and approve vendor documents and drawings. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor the installation and performance of piping systems. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the design, construction, or operation phases. Stay updated with the latest advancements in piping technology and industry best practices. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Proven experience as a Piping Engineer in the energy industry. Strong knowledge of piping design principles, codes, and standards (ASME, ANSI, API, etc.). Proficiency in using piping design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.). Familiarity with stress analysis software (CAESAR II, ANSYS, etc.). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Professional engineering license is preferred.
