Physics Teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Physics Teacher to teach students of the secondary section (Grades 6–10) as per the ICSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should be able to deliver concept-based learning, conduct practical sessions, and support students’ academic growth and overall development.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Curriculum Delivery

• Deliver engaging and well-structured Physics lessons as per the ICSE curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and digital content.
• Teach theoretical and practical aspects of Physics, ensuring conceptual clarity.
• Conduct laboratory experiments and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Prepare students for internal assessments, projects, and the ICSE Board Examination.

Student Development & Classroom Management

• Monitor student progress and provide individual support where required.
• Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment.
• Encourage critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and hands-on learning.
• Provide timely feedback and maintain academic records.

Assessment & Evaluation

• Prepare question papers, assignments, and evaluation rubrics.
• Conduct periodic tests, practical exams, and assess notebooks regularly.
• Maintain transparency and fairness in evaluation.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with the HOD, academic coordinators, and other subject teachers.
• Communicate effectively with parents during PTMs and whenever required.
• Participate in school events, workshops, and professional development programs.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Maintain lab records, equipment inventory, and student observation notes.
• Ensure proper documentation as per school policies.
• Follow all institutional guidelines and code of conduct.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Physics (B.Sc/M.Sc).
• B.Ed is mandatory.
• Minimum 3years of teaching experience in an ICSE school (preferred).
• Strong subject knowledge and clarity in concepts.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to integrate technology in teaching.
• Salary: As per industry standards / based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
