Role Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Laravel & React Developer with 5+ years of experience to join client's team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Laravel (PHP) for back-end development and React.js for front-end development, with a deep understanding of modern web technologies, RESTful APIs, and full-stack application development.

Key Responsibilities -

Back-End (Laravel) Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable Laravel applications.

• Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications.

• Manage database design & optimization using MySQL.

• Implement authentication & authorization using Laravel Passport / JWT.

• Optimize application performance and ensure security best practices.

• Work with queues & job scheduling (Redis, & Elastic search).

• Integrate third-party services (e.g., Payment gateways, AWS).

Front-End (React) Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain React.js applications with Redux / Context API.

• Create dynamic, responsive, and reusable React components.

• Optimize UI performance with React Hooks, Lazy Loading, and Code Splitting.

• Work with modern UI frameworks like Material UI, Bootstrap.

• Integrate APIs and WebSockets for real-time data updates.

• Implement state management solutions like Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or MobX.

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.

General Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers.

• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices.

• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting.

• Stay updated with modern web development trends and technologies.

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth.  

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience with Laravel & React.
• Proficiency in PHP, Laravel 8+/10+, and React 18+.
• Strong understanding of MVC architecture & microservices.
• Experience with RESTful APIs & GraphQL.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, ES6+.
• Experience with MySQL, MongoDB.
• Expertise in state management (Redux, Zustand, MobX).
• Experience with authentication & authorization (OAuth, JWT, Laravel Sanctum).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS/GCP (preferred).
• Knowledge of Unit Testing & Integration Testing (Jest, PHPUnit).

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with React Native for mobile development.

• Familiarity with Headless CMS (Voyager, WordPress API, Contentful).
