Lead Backend Engineer – Laravel Specialist | Platform Architect

(Core Stack: Laravel | AWS | MySQL | Redis)

We are building a multi-app, ad-driven digital ecosystem including reward apps,

gaming platforms, content websites, and monetization systems operating at scale.

This is a Laravel-first backend leadership role.

If your primary expertise is frontend, MERN, or UI frameworks,

this role is not suitable.

This role requires ownership, system-level thinking, and responsibility.

Compensation

₹50,000 – ₹80,000 per month

Employment Type: Full-time

Probation Period: 60 days (performance-based confirmation)

Role Summary (Please Read Carefully)

We are looking for a Lead Backend Engineer / Platform Architect

with deep Laravel experience who can:

• Own Laravel backend architecture and system stability

• Handle ad-heavy, traffic-sensitive, policy-risk systems

• Make backend and data-architecture decisions independently

• Guide and review work done by frontend and mobile developers

• Protect the platform from fraud, abuse, and scalability failures

This is not a general Full Stack role.

Laravel backend ownership is the primary responsibility.

Core Responsibilities

1. Laravel Architecture Ownership (Primary)

• Design and maintain scalable Laravel backend architecture

• Define service-layer, repository patterns, and clean separation

• Decide where logic should live (Laravel vs Node vs App side)

• Ensure system stability even when developers change

• Maintain clean, documented, production-ready codebases

2. Backend Core Systems (Hands-On – Laravel)

You will directly own Laravel systems for:

• Rewards

• Wallet

• Admin panels

• Money-sensitive and policy-sensitive APIs

You will implement:

• Secure REST APIs

• Token-based authentication (JWT / Sanctum)

• Rate limiting and abuse prevention

• Fraud detection logic

• Database query optimization and indexing

• Redis queues and scheduled cron jobs

3. Ad & Monetization Awareness (Required)

You must understand:

• AdMob and Google Ad Manager (GAM) fundamentals

• Rewarded vs interstitial ad flows

• Backend logic that can cause policy violations

• Impression limits and fallback logic

• Risks in high-traffic monetization systems

You are not required to manage ads.

You must understand how backend mistakes can cause bans or revenue loss.

4. Team & Technical Leadership

• Review backend and API-related code from other developers

• Break backend tasks clearly for React, Flutter, and Kotlin teams

• Reject unsafe, unscalable, or poorly designed code

• Coordinate with freelancers and external vendors when required

5. Documentation & Continuity

You must maintain:

• API documentation

• Critical business and monetization logic notes

• Deployment and system flow documentation

The platform must not depend on any one person’s memory.

Required Skills (Non-Negotiable)

Primary (Must-Have):

• Strong Laravel experience ( 5 Years or higher)

• Deep understanding of MVC and service-layer architecture

• MySQL optimization, indexing, and query tuning

• REST API design for production systems

• Redis queues and cron-based background jobs

• Secure authentication (JWT / Sanctum)

• Experience with money-sensitive or high-risk backend systems

Supporting Skills (Good to Have):

• AWS basics (EC2, S3, RDS, logs)

• Node.js (used only for auxiliary or microservices)

• Basic server knowledge (Nginx, SSL, logs)

• Flutter / Kotlin backend interaction understanding

• WordPress plugin-level familiarity

What This Role Is NOT

• Not a frontend-heavy role

• Not a MERN-only role

• Not a UI/UX or design role

• Not a junior or learning position

• Not a “do everything alone” role

Red Flags (Automatic Rejection)

• Laravel is not your primary backend framework

• No experience owning production systems

• No documentation habit

• Avoids responsibility for failures

• Takes security or policy risks lightly

• Defensive or ego-driven attitude
