We are currently seeking a talented PHP Developer who has 3-6 years of experience to join one of our esteemed clients who has a pioneering Healthnet start-up focused on solving real-world healthcare challenges through innovative, tech-driven solutions for our mobile development team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping in building and maintaining the core services that power our platform. You will work closely with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to design APIs, improve system performance, and ensure high code quality.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs using
Laravel
and
PHP
.
Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following best practices and standards.
Optimize database queries, manage migrations, and ensure system performance (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
Collaborate with frontend and mobile teams to ensure smooth integration between services.
Implement automated tests (unit, feature, integration) and participate in code reviews.
Support deployment processes and contribute to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Docker).
Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, addressing performance or reliability issues.
Document systems, APIs, and development processes clearly for team use.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

3+ years
of hands-on experience with
PHP
and
Laravel
in production environments.
Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL) and query optimization.
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools.
Solid grasp of testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Pest) and writing automated tests.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
