Position: PGT COMPUTER TEACHER Hustlr Staffing Services is hiring for a client school, seeking a qualified and enthusiastic PGT Computer Teacher to join their dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background in computer science and a passion for teaching students about technology's role and significance in the modern world. The role involves creating an engaging learning environment that inspires students to explore computer science concepts deeply. Role Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive lessons in computer science to students in the grade levels corresponding to PGT curriculum. Prepare and implement instructional plans based on the curriculum and student needs. Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles. Develop and assess learning activities and assessments that promote student understanding of key concepts. Integrate technology in lessons to enhance learning and prepare students for a digital world. Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students. Create a positive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and enthusiasm for learning. Monitor student performance and provide regular feedback to guide their progress. Collaborate with other faculty members to refine and improve Computer Science curriculum. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technological advancements and reflect them in the classroom. Organize workshops or extra-curricular activities related to computer science and technology. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom updates. Participate actively in staff meetings and professional development opportunities. Foster relationships with students while promoting respect and inclusion. Ensure that all school policies and procedures are adhered to in the classroom. Qualifications Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Bachelor’s degree in Education is preferable. Teaching certification for Secondary Education (PGT level). Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of computer science concepts and technologies. Experience with educational software and learning management systems. Effective classroom management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Passion for educating students and a commitment to their success. Willingness to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs. Experience in developing lesson plans and assessment strategies.
