Job Description

Role Overview:

Performance Marketing Team Lead

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute performance marketing strategies across paid search, social, display, programmatic, affiliate, and other digital channels.
  • Allocate budgets efficiently to maximize ROI and meet growth objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Campaign Management & Optimization

  • Oversee end-to-end campaign execution, from planning and setup to reporting and optimization.
  • Manage A/B testing, landing page optimization, and audience targeting strategies.
  • Monitor performance metrics (CPC, CPA, ROAS, LTV, CTR, Conversion Rate) and ensure campaigns meet or exceed targets.
  • Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and upskill a team of performance marketing specialists/analysts.
  • Set KPIs, track progress, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with design, content, product, and sales teams to align campaigns with business goals.
  • Provide actionable insights through regular reporting and dashboards to leadership.
  • Collaborate with external agencies, vendors, and platforms as required.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5–8 years of proven experience in performance/digital marketing with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, programmatic platforms, and affiliate marketing.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools (Google Analytics, GA4, Mixpanel, Tableau, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation, attribution, and bid management tools.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Growth mindset with a passion for innovation and testing.
