Job Role: Performance Marketer (D2C Products)

Overview

Performance Marketer

Key Responsibilities

1. Paid Media Strategy & Execution

  • Develop, implement, and optimize performance marketing campaigns across platforms including

    Meta Ads, Google Ads, YouTube, Amazon Ads, Snapchat, and emerging channels

    .
  • Build full-funnel strategies (TOFU, MOFU, BOFU) tailored for D2C brands.
  • Manage daily budgets, bids, and pacing to ensure efficient delivery and maximize ROI.

2. Conversion & Growth Optimization

  • Conduct A/B testing on creatives, copies, audiences, and landing pages.
  • Optimize ad funnels (from click to purchase) to reduce CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost) and improve ROAS (Return on Ad Spend).
  • Collaborate with UI/UX and product teams to optimize website CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization).

3. Analytics & Reporting

  • Track, measure, and analyze campaign performance using tools such as

    Google Analytics, GA4, Meta Business Suite, and attribution platforms

    .
  • Provide weekly and monthly performance dashboards with actionable insights.
  • Forecast spends, CAC, and ROI based on past data and industry benchmarks.

4. Audience & Market Research

  • Research consumer behavior, market trends, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities.
  • Build and scale lookalike, retargeting, and interest-based audiences.
  • Create customer cohorts and lifecycle campaigns to increase LTV (Lifetime Value).

5. Collaboration & Creative Direction

  • Work with creative teams to guide ad content (videos, static ads, UGC, influencer collabs).
  • Collaborate with product and sales teams to align campaigns with launches, discounts, and seasonal promotions.
  • Drive innovation by testing new ad formats, platforms, and growth hacks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of experience in

    Performance Marketing

    , preferably for

    D2C e-commerce brands

    .
  • Strong understanding of

    digital ad platforms

    (Meta, Google, TikTok/Snapchat, Amazon, etc.).
  • Proficiency with

    analytics tools

    (GA4, Mixpanel, Hotjar, Data Studio).
  • Deep knowledge of

    CAC, ROAS, CLV, AOV, retention, attribution modeling

    .
  • Proven track record of scaling D2C campaigns with

    7–8 figure monthly ad spends

    .
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into strategy.
  • Hands-on experience with

    Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar e-commerce platforms

    is a plus.
