About The Role

Technical Asset Management

Primary Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets on power plant performance and modeling
• Develop predictive models to forecast performance, troubleshoot PV systems, and recommend corrective actions
• Use PV modeling tools (PVsyst, PVlib Python, NREL SAM, etc.) for performance analysis
• Calculate plant/equipment losses (soiling, tracker, temperature, clipping, inverter efficiency, wiring)
• Compute KPIs (availability, performance ratio, energy performance index) using algorithms
• Support automation of reporting and analysis with data science/software teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
• Translate analysis into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  

Basic Qualifications

• Master's in Computer/Data Science, Engineering, Math, or Physics with 2â3 yrs in performance engineering, PV modeling (PVsyst), and data analytics
• Strong knowledge of PV system modeling (PVsyst, PVLib) and SCADA performance assessment
• Skilled in Python/R, SQL, Excel (advanced, VBA), and BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Plotly, Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib)
• Experience in project management, data mining, and AC/DC power system analysis
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

• Experience working in the power industry, specifically in performance analysis and modeling in the PV solar industry
