People Partner - South Cluster

As a People Partner at Maersk, you will have a dynamic role that offers a comprehensive understanding of the business in your designated geography. Your main responsibility will be to engage with various stakeholders and utilize your HR knowledge to support leaders on a range of people matters and policies. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with HRBPs on implementing the People Strategy. - Collaborate with HR professionals and specialists within People Advisory, Centres of Excellence, and Global Mobility teams to deliver service. - Establish strong relationships with leaders, act as their main point of contact, and provide support on people matters. - Drive local delivery of the annual HR Cycle, including performance management, compensation, and succession planning. - Handle employee relations issues and advise leaders on HR policies. - Stay updated on local employment laws to ensure compliance. - Encourage talent transfer within the organization for developmental experience. - Work with the regional PPO team on day-to-day people processes and complex cases. - Use real-time reports to identify improvement opportunities and address them with leaders. - Conduct trainings and workshops for local leadership teams and employees on various HR topics. - Assist in on-site recruitment and coordinate employee activities like onboarding and training sessions. Qualifications Required: - 8-12 years of solid experience as an HR generalist with a deep understanding of HR fundamentals. - Passion for business and demonstrated ability to support leaders in achieving business results. - Advanced knowledge of local labor laws, experience in unionized environments is beneficial. - Experience in developing and interpreting HR policies and processes. - Strong change management, facilitation, and coaching skills. - Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Resilience to overcome challenges and deliver outcomes. - Self-driven, energetic, and with a can-do mindset. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and any local language.
