Job Description

As a People & Culture Manager at Greenvironment Innovation & Marketing India (P) Ltd, located in Chennai, your role will involve managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle to ensure a positive working environment and compliance with labor regulations and company policies. Your responsibilities will include: - **Recruitment & Talent Acquisition**: - Drive recruitment for technical, business, and leadership roles. - Manage hiring pipelines for Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) and interns. - Build a strong employer brand and ensure a positive candidate experience. - **Employee Experience & Engagement**: - Design and implement employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and wellness activities. - Act as the primary contact for employee queries, grievances, and support. - Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and implement action plans to enhance the workplace culture. - **Performance & Growth**: - Support KPI/OKR-based performance management systems. - Monitor appraisals, promotions, and probation confirmations. - Facilitate training programs for technical, leadership, and behavioral skills. - Develop succession pipelines for critical roles. - **Culture & Values**: - Integrate Greenvironments" values of sustainability, innovation, and collaboration into HR practices. - Lead Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. - Foster transparent communication across leadership and teams. - **People Operations & Compliance**: - Ensure statutory compliance with regulations such as PF, ESI, Shops & Establishments, POSH, and UAE labor requirements. - Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and documentation. - **Organizational Development Support**: - Collaborate with Directors and Business Heads to understand workforce needs. - Provide HR insights through dashboards on attrition, hiring, and training participation. - Support HR integration for new subsidiaries like Mu Sustainability Pvt Ltd, UAE, and USA entities. **Key Competencies**: - 5-8 years of HR/People management experience in scaling companies, preferably in tech/startup/sustainability sectors. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Proficiency in HRMS tools (Zoho People preferred) and knowledge of Indian/UAE labor laws. - Ability to balance people care with compliance and process discipline. - Problem-solving skills with high empathy and cultural sensitivity.,
