Job Description

Role Overview: Experience Co. is seeking a People and Culture Intern who is passionate about building a high-trust, high-performance team culture. As a member of the ExCo team, you will play a key role in shaping the employee experience, from leave tracking to onboarding processes, and from performance conversations to solving operational inefficiencies. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to propose, design, and implement projects that have a meaningful impact on every team member. Key Responsibilities: - People Operations & Systems: - Take ownership of leave management systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency - Develop templates and workflows for contracts, onboarding documents, and team communications - Identify and address operational bottlenecks by designing scalable systems - Maintain employee records, directories, and organizational charts with meticulous attention to detail - Metrics & Reporting: - Track and report on essential people metrics such as headcount, leave balances, and attrition rates - Create dashboards and reports to present HR data in a clear and actionable format - Monitor team sentiment through pulse checks, feedback loops, and individual insights - Present findings and recommend data-driven improvements to enhance employee experience - Employee Experience & Communication: - Support seamless onboarding and offboarding experiences for team members - Draft internal communications including policy updates, team announcements, and culture emails - Provide clear and empathetic responses to team queries in a timely manner - Assist in organizing team rituals, celebrations, and culture-building activities - Problem-Solving & Projects: - Address ad-hoc people challenges by proposing and implementing solutions - Research best practices in people operations, remote work policies, and team culture - Pilot new initiatives such as feedback systems, recognition programs, and wellness check-ins - Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership to align people systems with business needs Qualification Required: - Passion for people and a genuine interest in enhancing the employee experience - Strong systems thinking ability to proactively prevent and solve problems - Detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven mindset - Proficiency in handling metrics, spreadsheets, and translating data into actionable insights - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in Slack and email platforms - Self-starter who thrives in uncertainty and takes ownership of tasks - Curious and resourceful individual who actively seeks solutions and proposes innovative ideas Additional Details: Experience Co. prioritizes creating a supportive culture where clear communication fosters trust and intentionality in work.
