Job Description

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to build the foundations of HR while handling core managerial functions of the startup. As the first dedicated HR professional in the company, you will set up policies, processes, and practices that shape the employee experience and strengthen our culture.

Key Responsibilities: 


  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, employee handbook, and processes aligned with the organization. 


  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process (job postings, interviews, offers, onboarding). 


  • Design appraisal systems, feedback frameworks, and employee engagement programs. 


  • Handle payroll and leave management while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, Shops & Establishments, Gratuity, etc.) 


  • Work closely with the Founder to support management and compliance. 


  • Manage travel arrangements, meeting logistics, and company events. 


  • Handle filling out forms, applications, and statutory documentation for events and permits. 


  • Work with leadership to build a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented work environment. 



Qualifications: 


  • Bachelor’s degree (HR, Business Administration, or related). 
  • Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and HR compliance. 
  • Ability to set up HR systems and processes independently. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace; HRMS exposure is an advantage. 
  • Ability to work in a dynamic startup environment
