Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Executive – Payroll & Compliance to manage payroll processing, statutory compliance, and related HR operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of labor laws, statutory regulations, and payroll systems within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end payroll processing accurately and on time
• Ensure timely collection and validation of payroll inputs.
• Process salary calculations including deductions and allowances.

• Manage statutory compliance including PF, ESIC, Gratuity, and Bonus Act
• Monitor monthly contributions and ensure timely deposit.
• Maintain compliance records for audits and inspections.

• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulatory guidelines
• Stay updated with changes in labor and tax regulations.
• Implement necessary changes in payroll systems as per law.

• Maintain employee attendance, leave records, and related payroll inputs
• Collect attendance and leave data from the HRMS system.
• Verify accuracy of records before processing payroll.

• Prepare and file statutory returns (PF, ESIC, PT, etc.) within deadlines
• Generate reports and file online returns as per compliance norms.
• Maintain acknowledgment copies and challans for record-keeping.

• Address employee queries related to salary, deductions, and compliance
• Respond promptly to employee payroll-related issues.
• Provide clarifications on statutory deductions and benefits.

• Coordinate with finance for payroll disbursement
• Share final payroll reports with the finance team.
• Ensure timely salary credit to employee accounts.

• Assist in audits related to payroll and compliance
• Prepare necessary documentation and reports for auditors.
• Coordinate with auditors for payroll-related queries.

• Maintain proper documentation for audit and reporting purposes
• Organize and archive payroll reports and compliance documents.
• Ensure easy retrieval of documents during audits or inspections.

• Implement process improvements for payroll accuracy and compliance efficiency

• Identify gaps in the current payroll process and suggest solutions.
• Implement automation and system updates for error-free processing.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Graduate in HR/Commerce; MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in Payroll & Compliance in a manufacturing industry.

• Skills:

• Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.
• Hands-on experience in payroll software and MS Excel.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
