Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities: We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our HR team. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees, handling payroll-related queries, and maintaining compliance with all statutory and internal regulations. Assist in end-to-end payroll processing on a monthly basis Collate and validate attendance, leave, and salary inputs from relevant teams Ensure timely processing of salaries, reimbursements, bonuses, and deductions Handle queries related to payroll, salary slips, taxation, and other compensation matters Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation for audit purposes Stay updated on statutory compliances including PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, etc. Coordinate with finance, HR, and compliance teams for seamless payroll execution Support HR with reporting and data analysis as needed Bachelors degree in Commerce, Human Resources, or a related field Minimum 1 year of experience in payroll or HR operations Familiarity with payroll software/tools and MS Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables) Understanding of statutory regulations related to payroll in India Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and communication skills Ability to manage deadlines and work collaboratively across teams
