Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Payroll & compliance executive located in Pune. The Payroll and Compliance Executive is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, statutory compliance, and maintaining up-to-date employee records. The role involves managing payroll operations, statutory filings, audits, and ensuring adherence to labour laws and company policies.

Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, HR, or a related field

Desired Experience

1 to 3 years

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of payroll software
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Familiarity with EPFO, ESIC, PT, and TDS portals.

Soft Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

• Manage monthly payroll processing and ensure timely salary disbursement.
• Maintain accurate attendance, leave, and employee data.
• Handle statutory compliance – PF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS, and Gratuity.
• Prepare and file statutory returns and ensure timely remittances.
• Process employee exits and full & final settlements.
• Maintain payroll records and generate MIS/reports as required.
• Support internal/external audits and coordinate with statutory authorities.
