Role Overview

Payments Product Lead

Key Responsibilities

Conduct market and competitor research on digital banking and payments (UPI, QR, Mobile, Utilities, Account Funding, etc.)
Define and execute product strategies aligned with business and regulatory goals
Build and manage relationships with partner banks and third-party providers (fintechs, payment gateways, etc.)
Handle technical documentation handover (APIs, specs) to development teams
Design cash flow, accounting, reconciliation, and settlement systems
Collaborate with technology, marketing, and finance teams for product launches
Analyze data and generate regulatory and performance reports
Continuously improve product features based on data-driven insights

What We’re Looking For

Strong experience in Payments Product/Project Management (UPI, mobile payments, QR, bill pay)
Understanding of core banking processes and financial regulations
Experience working in startups or high-growth environments is a plus
Familiar with API integrations, payment systems, and accounting flows
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

Ideal Candidate Will Have

5–7+ years in Banking, Fintech, or Payments domain
Experience with UPI, P2P/P2M, and utility payment platforms
Exposure to partner bank integrations and regulatory reporting
Ability to work across global and remote teams
A proactive, ownership-driven attitude with strong analytical skills
