Patent Specialist

Role Overview: As an Assistant Manager Engineering at our Global IP Research Company, you will play a crucial role in leading high-impact IP research projects and overseeing a team of patent professionals. Your responsibilities will require a combination of technical expertise, client interaction skills, and team management abilities to provide strategic patent insights and aid in decision-making for our international clients. Key Responsibilities: - Lead complex patent projects including Invalidation, FTO, and Patentability searches - Perform technology landscapes, white space analysis, and competitor monitoring - Generate patent reports with valuable insights to assist in strategic decisions - Collaborate with clients worldwide to define project scope and objectives - Evaluate patent portfolios to extract legal, technical, and commercial insights - Mentor and manage a team of 8-10 IP professionals to maintain quality and productivity standards - Engage with clients to foster relationships and identify business development opportunities - Advocate for best practices, drive process enhancements, and encourage knowledge-sharing within the team Qualification Required: - 6-10 years of experience in patent research and analytics - Previous experience in managing a team of 3-5+ members - Proficiency in independently handling global client calls - Familiarity with patent search tools such as Derwent Innovation and MS Office - Possess a strong analytical mindset, scientific aptitude, and effective communication skills - Educational background in BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Electronics, Electrical, or Industrial Production If you are ready to take on the challenge of leading impactful IP research projects and possess the required qualifications, we would like to connect with you.
