About the Role

Assistant Manager – Engineering

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Lead complex patent projects – Invalidation, FTO, Patentability searches

🔹 Conduct technology landscapes, white space analysis & competitor monitoring

🔹 Deliver insight-driven patent reports supporting strategic decisions

🔹 Collaborate with global clients to define scope & align on objectives

🔹 Evaluate patent portfolios for legal, technical & commercial insights

🔹 Manage and mentor a team of 8–10 IP professionals for quality & productivity

🔹 Drive client engagement and support business development opportunities

🔹 Promote best practices, process improvements & knowledge-sharing

Requirements

✅ 6–10 years of experience in patent research & analytics

✅ Prior experience managing a team of 3–5+ members

✅ Hands-on experience handling global client calls independently

✅ Proficiency in patent search tools (e.g. Derwent Innovation), MS Office

✅ Strong analytical mindset, scientific aptitude & communication skills

✅ BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile / Electronics / Electrical / Industrial Production
