Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IP Operations Specialist to contribute to our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patent-related processes, data management, and team leadership. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our IP operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end IDS preparation, filing packages, and other paralegal tasks related to patent prosecution.
• Prepare formal documents, including assignments, declarations, and Form-1s.
• Utilize and maintain patent databases for searching and analysis.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Conduct quality audits to ensure adherence to standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage and train new team members, providing guidance and support.
• Communicate with clients (internal and external) to address inquiries and provide updates.
• Collate, update, and maintain data extracted from various sources.

Qualifications:

• 1-4 years of experience in IP operations or a related field.
• Strong understanding of patent prosecution processes and requirements.
• Proficiency in patent searching and analysis.
• Experience with various patent databases and software (e.g., Memotech, FoundationIP, Salesforce/Novum, First to File).
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage and train teams.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Computer Applications, Science, or Engineering preferred).

• Experience with building and implementing tools for patent reference management.
• Experience coordinating with international law firms.
