Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

The Marketing Manager – Partnerships will be responsible for driving strategic partnerships to enhance the visibility, reach and commercial value of our India events portfolio.

This role involves developing and managing partnerships with industry associations, international associations and government bodies to maximise event exposure, audience acquisition and brand positioning.

The individual will own the end-to-end partnership strategy — from identifying potential partners to negotiation, activation and post-event evaluation — ensuring that all collaborations directly contribute to event growth and stakeholder engagement.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Develop and execute the partnership strategy for India events, covering industry associations and strategic partners. • Growth in number and quality of partnerships delivering measurable value.

• Negotiate high-value partnerships to secure in-kind marketing exposure, digital promotion and co-branded campaigns. • Increase in audience reach, lead generation and event awareness.

• Manage end-to-end partner deliverables including branding, digital campaigns, email marketing and event-day activations. • 100% fulfilment of partner obligations and on-time execution.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with industry associations and government entities to secure endorsements and advocacy. • Strategic alignment with industry stakeholders, endorsements obtained.

• Collaborate with the marketing and commercial teams to align partnership activity with visitor, delegate and exhibitor campaigns. • Increased qualified leads and audience engagement attributed to partnerships.

• Track, analyse and report on partnership performance with recommendations for optimization. • Clear reporting demonstrating ROI and impact on event KPIs.

• Identify new partnership opportunities that drive visibility, leads and attendance growth. • Year-on-year increase in strategic and high-value partnerships.


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

• A marketing, communications, or business-related qualification is advantageous.

Minimum Experience:

• 4–6 years of experience in partnership marketing, B2B events, or media/association relations.

Job-Specific Experience:

• Experience in negotiating and managing partnerships.

• Strong understanding of media planning and advertising strategies.

• Knowledge of the energy, transport or manufacturing sector and B2B event marketing is advantageous.

• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.

• Experience coordinating marketing deliverables and working with designers.

• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple partnerships simultaneously.

• Familiarity with digital marketing, including banner placements and email campaigns.

• Ability to track and report on partnership performance and impact.
