Paper Innovation Associate

The candidate will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and overseeing the manufacturing processes in pulp and paper production. This role involves ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable operations while maintaining high-quality standards. The engineer will work closely with various departments to improve production methods, resolve technical issues, and implement innovative technologies.

We specialize in producing tree-free, carbon-negative products, like formaldehyde-free boards for furniture and, pulp and paper for packaging applications from crop residue. Our mission is to tackle climate change and promote sustainability along with rural empowerment with the help of our innovative and superior quality materials.

Role & Responsibilities

As Paper Innovation Associate, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of our product and ensuring that it can be scaled up to a factory level. You will work closely with the product development team to ensure that the product meets the specifications and is suitable for factory production. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Developing new products and improving existing ones through R&D.
• Conducting experiments and tests to ensure that the product meets quality standards.
• Creating and maintaining documentation of the product development process.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure that the product meets customer needs.
• Providing technical support to the factory during scale-up and production.
• Testing and analysis of properties of raw material as well as final product.
• Training manpower for using lab equipment and process machinery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new findings into product development strategies.
• Document experimental procedures, results, and observations accurately.
• Assist in the design and execution of prototype trials and pilot-scale production runs.
• Conduct research for product development and stay updated on industry trends and advancements in sustainable materials and technologies.

Qualifications

Pulp and Paper Engineerin

Strong knowledge of pulp and paper manufacturing processes and equipment.

Experience with product development and scale-up.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
