In this role you will be responsible for:

• Packaging Design & CAD Development:Create 3D parametric CAD models and 2D technical drawings for diverse packaging formats using tools like Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD. Collaborate with teams to ensure designs are functional, cost-effective, and aesthetically aligned with product requirements.
• Material & Structural Design: Familiar with packaging material and manufacturing process (like corrugated, folding cartons, rigid box, as well as moulded Fiber tray assembly, Well understand the structure between finished 3D and 2D die lines.
• Collaboration Communication: Work closely with internal and external design engineers, marketing, and clients to interpret and communicate packaging requirements. Ensure designs align with brand vision and meet functional specifications.
• Innovation: Stay updated on packaging trends, materials, and technologies to integrate the latest innovations into your designs. Troubleshoot and resolve design challenges with creative solutions.

Requirements for this role include:

• Core Skills: Proficient in 3D CAD design (e.g., Siemens NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Artios CAD). Strong understanding of packaging design principles for folding cartons, rigid boxes, and corrugated packaging. Experience with packaging for retail and e-commerce.
• Additional Knowledge: Experience with packaging optimization tools (e.g., Artios CAD, CAPE Pack) and simulation software (e.g., SolidWorks Simulation) is preferred. Manufacturing knowledge (e.g., die-cutting, folding) is beneficial.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to clearly explain design concepts to cross- functional teams and external partners.
• Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in packaging design, preferably in high-end retail or consumer electronics.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) required. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
