Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing and developing safe, sturdy, and cost-effective packaging for automobile components and consumables. You will work with key functions such as Supply chain, KD operations, Quality Assurance, Logistics, etc., to meet business requirements within given timelines. Additionally, you will create packaging material drawings, conduct cost-saving analysis, and ensure compliance with Indian and Global regulatory changes. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop packaging solutions using IT-enabled tools like UG-NX, Auto-CAD, etc. - Plan and set up packaging facilities including equipment specification, layouts, and procurement processes. - Collaborate with key functions to design packaging using structural analysis, design simulations, and feasibility trials. - Create packaging material drawings and specifications for new materials. - Conduct cost-saving analysis and ensure compliance with regulatory changes. - Update packaging requirements for both Export and Import as per regulations. - Develop packaging related SOPs and Work Instructions. Qualification Required: - B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/Industrial/Production/Automobile. - Post Graduation in Packaging Technology (preferably). - 3.9-6 years of experience in treasury activities with experience in Packaging, preferably in Auto OEM industry. - Familiarity with software like Uni-graphics, Auto-CAD, Factory-CAD. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to evaluate technical and commercial requirements for Packaging operations.
