About the Role:
As the Relationship Manager, you will be a hands-on leader responsible for managing and overseeing large enterprise merchants. In addition to core payment products, you will lead efforts in driving other platform level products with objective of gaining wallet share, better payment experience, deeper penetration with the large goal of achieving higher Revenue and Gross Margin numbers. etc
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the identification, engagement, and onboarding of platform partners across various international markets.
- Perform market research to understand local industry trends, regulations, and customer behaviour to tailor acquisition efforts for each region.
- Lead negotiations with global partners, solution on PayU products and close agreements
- Facilitate onboarding and contracting with global PSP, APMs & Platform Partners.
- Facilitate cross-border partnerships for both Import & Export arrangements.
- Expand PayUs partner and product footprint globally.
- Analyse competitor offerings to propose new cross-border payment products & features.
- In depth-understanding of the Global PSPs, Regulations and Fintech ecosystem.
- Lead integration & product solutioning discussion with the potential cross-border partners
- Establish and maintain regular communication with platform partners to ensure strong relationships, address concerns, and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, legal, and operations teams to ensure alignment on partnership terms, onboarding, and product solutioning
- Develop and execute partner Go-To-Market strategies
- Share insights from partners and market feedback to improve product offerings, marketing collateral, and the overall partner experience.
- Regularly evaluate the performance of existing partners to ensure alignment with company goals and strategic initiatives.
- Develop long term relations with partners & carry out farming activities to scale the growth of the partnership acquired.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in partner/channel development, sales, or business development in the payments or fintech industry.
- Strong understanding of global payment solutions and channel ecosystems.
- Proven success in managing and acquiring channel partners in cross-border environments
- Understanding of the Global PSPs, Regulations and Fintech ecosystem
- Understanding of imports & Export payments ecosystem
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with large organizations and their senior management
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, data analysis, and report.
