Job Description

The candidate is an accomplished sales leader with extensive experience in software/SaaS sales, team leadership, and call center operations management. In this role, you will oversee a team of Account Managers engaged in outbound software sales to the US market, while actively participating in strategic deal closures. They possess in-depth knowledge of outbound sales processes, team coaching, and operational optimization, driving consistent revenue growth and maintaining a high-performance sales culture.

Role & responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Account Managers focused on outbound software sales for US-based clients.
  • Actively support the team in closing high-value or strategic deals and handling complex negotiations.
  • Define and monitor KPIs, quotas, and performance benchmarks for the team.
  • Oversee and assess the quality of sales calls, email outreach, and lead follow-ups to ensure alignment with best practices.
  • Deliver regular coaching and training sessions to strengthen objection handling, product expertise, and closing capabilities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure sales messaging and campaigns align with market requirements.
  • Apply proven call center management techniques to enhance outbound sales processes and operational efficiency.
  • Track performance metrics, conduct data analysis, and prepare detailed sales reports for management.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of US time zones, cultural norms, and buying behaviors.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent CRM usage for pipeline visibility and forecasting.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on motivating and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding software/SaaS sales targets.
  • Proven experience in managing call center or inside sales operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Skilled in managing escalations and closing complex deals.
  • Proficient with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho or similar platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with strong data interpretation and reporting skills.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Extensive background in outbound sales (preferably US software/SaaS market) with consistent achievement of revenue goals.
  • Successful history of leading sales teams and managing call center operations.
  • Hands-on experience supporting team members in securing high-value or strategic deals.
  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Additional certifications in sales leadership or call center management (advantageous).
