Oracle WAM/WACS Consultant

• Act as the integration lead between Oracle Utilities WAM and CC&B systems for rewire billing.
• Analyze and define business and technical workflows related to rewire events and processes.
• Understand and define billing rules, event triggers, and transformation logic.
• Develop extraction routines and transformation scripts for WAMS data.
• Lead the design and development of integration components between WAMS and CC&B using Oracle Service Bus (OSB).
• Develop, test, and deploy web services for both consuming and exposing data from Oracle DB.
• Ensure data consistency, integrity, and traceability across systems.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and system integrators to ensure seamless implementation and delivery.
• Participate in technical design sessions, code reviews, and performance tuning.
• Provide post-go-live support and troubleshoot data integration and processing issues.
• Document all integration flows, configurations, and transformation logic clearly.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience working with Oracle Utilities applications, specifically WAM and CC&B.
• Deep hands-on expertise in data integration, data migration, and data transformation between Oracle Utilities platforms.
• Strong technical knowledge in :
• Oracle Service Bus (OSB).
• Web Services (SOAP/REST).
• Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
• XML/XSLT.
• Experience in building scalable and robust integration components using middleware technologies.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, analyzing logs, and resolving technical issues across environments.
• Strong understanding of utility business processes, especially rewire billing, asset tracking, and service workflows.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Utilities certification(s) (CC&B, WAM, SOA Suite, etc.)
• Experience with other Oracle Utilities products like MDM or NMS is a plus.
• Prior experience with large-scale utility transformation or modernization projects.
