Job Description

Role: Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Experience Preferred: 5+ Years

Location: Pune

Design, develop, test, and deploy complex
PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views
.
Write efficient SQL queries, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
Perform
performance tuning
of SQL queries and PL/SQL code.
Work with
data modeling
teams to design and implement database objects.
Support application development teams by creating backend logic, APIs, and integration processes.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize database code to resolve performance and functional issues.
Collaborate with DBAs for database upgrades, migrations, and deployment.
Prepare
technical documentation
for database design, code, and processes.
Ensure
data integrity, security, and compliance
with organizational standards.
Participate in
code reviews
and follow best practices for development and deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong hands-on experience in
Oracle PL/SQL development (Procedures, Packages, Functions, Triggers, Cursors, etc.)
.
Proficiency in
SQL query writing and optimization
.
Experience with
performance tuning tools (Explain Plan, Hints, Indexing strategies)
.
Knowledge of
data modeling concepts
and relational database design.
Experience in
Oracle 11g/12c/19c
databases.
Familiarity with
ETL processes, data migration, and batch jobs
.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
