Job Description

As a Finance Functional Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their financial management processes, requirements, and pain points. You will then configure Oracle Fusion Financials applications based on the business requirements, customize and extend applications using built-in tools like Oracle Application Composer, and develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality. It is essential to ensure that the solution aligns with business requirements and industry best practices. You will also be involved in overseeing financial data migration from legacy systems to Oracle Fusion Financials, providing end-user training on effectively using the applications, and creating user documentation and guides for reference. Additionally, you will be required to provide support to address user issues, troubleshoot problems, manage support tickets, adhere to defined SLAs, and coordinate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution. Collaborating with technical teams to design and implement integrations between Oracle Fusion Financials and other systems, staying updated with the latest releases, features, and best practices related to Oracle Fusion Financials, and continuously enhancing your knowledge and skills is crucial for this role. To be successful in this role, you should hold a bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications such as Oracle certifications are considered a plus. A minimum of 3 years of prior experience as an Oracle Fusion Financials Functional Consultant or similar ERP implementation roles is required, along with experience in Budget and Encumbrance Accounting. Proficiency in Oracle Fusion Financials modules, knowledge of Oracle tools like Application Composer, Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), and Oracle Financial Reporting Studio, as well as a strong understanding of financial and accounting processes, principles, and best practices are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for this role, as you will be required to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders, convey complex ideas clearly, and provide training and support to end-users. Your ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions will be key to your success in this position.,
