Position Title: Oracle Developer
Experience Required: 7 to 9 Years
Location: Hyderabad
Budget: Up to 24 LPA

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Developer with strong hands-on expertise in DBMS Scheduler and performance optimization of Oracle processes. The role involves providing support, performance tuning, and process improvements in complex database environments. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive in problem-solving, and experienced in driving improvements in Oracle-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and manage DBMS Scheduler jobs for automation and workflow management.
• Provide L2/L3 production support for Oracle applications and processes.
• Analyze and troubleshoot database issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Perform performance tuning and query optimization to enhance Oracle processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient database solutions.
• Conduct root cause analysis and apply corrective/preventive actions for recurring issues.
• Review and optimize PL/SQL code, stored procedures, and triggers for better efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to database security, compliance, and best practices.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base for ongoing support.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle DBMS Scheduler.
• Expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL development (packages, procedures, triggers).
• Proven ability in performance tuning and query optimization.
• Solid understanding of Oracle database architecture and processes.
• Experience in troubleshooting production issues and supporting business-critical systems.
• Good knowledge of indexes, partitions, and execution plans for performance improvement.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments.

Good to Have

• Exposure to Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux shell scripting for automation.
• Knowledge of job scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, etc.) as a plus.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices for Incident, Problem, and Change Management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,543,908.33 - ₹2,348,417.45 per year
